(This isn't really about my cat, but the last paragraph is). So, since I got married, I've been bombarded by relatives and friends asking me if I had any "good news." Well, I do, now! Some may have preferred that I had it sooner, but this is a decent time for me. Not too early, not too late; just right! Something akin to Goldilocks.
So far, I am two months along and not showing. The only thing visible is my nausea. I can't hide that. It's nothing specific, although oily, heavy curries and meat kind of trigger it. I'm more into vegetables and fruit right now. Or anything that won't give me indigestion.
I didn't realize how tired I would be.....consistently. If I don't get a nap by 3-5, I pretty much have to be asleep by 9:30 or 9. Crazy! And speaking of...I'm about to doze off right about now. One more thing, I found out that I can continue to go to the gym! This is exciting, because I'd rather not be completely out of shape by the end of 9 months. I haven't gone since I found out; I'd been waiting to clear it with my docotor, but since she approved it, I'm planning on going tomorrow! I didn't used to enjoy gym when I was in school, but it really does boost me up and makes me feel energized and, well, healthy. And it prompts me to eat healthier, too. All in all, a good feeling.
The one thing I am worried about is my cat. I got him when he was a kitten in February and I've grown really attached to him. Do I have to get rid of him? I don't change his litter, or even go near it. But I read a pamphlet that that said to avoid contact with cats. We bathe him every week, so he's pretty clean. But I'm concerned about his shedding. I can't bear to give him away, so if anyone has any suggestions.....?
